Soft, moist banana bread meets the rich, fruity flavour of Beku's Mulberry Spread. Slather it generously over a warm slice for a comforting treat that's perfect with your morning coffee or afternoon chai.

For the banana bread
To serve
Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a loaf tin. In one bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, egg, butter, vanilla, and brown sugar. Fold in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt until just combined. Pour the batter into the loaf tin and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean. Let the loaf cool slightly before slicing. Generously spread Beku Mulberry Spread over each warm slice and top with chopped walnuts, if desired.
